Instructions
- Take the ground beef out at least an hour before you want to eat
- Add 1 tsp salt, freshly ground black pepper, finely diced onion and a few splashes of Maggi to the meat.
- Form into portions of 150 g and shape into burger patties (here, I usually use a burger press to get consistently thick patties).
- Ensure your accompaniments are ready, along with your buns, chips, etc.
- Warm up your grill, and once it is hot, cook your burgers on medium-high direct heat for around two minutes. Flip, add cheese, and cook another one and a half minutes for medium rare burgers. If you want the meat rare, leave the cheese off, cook for one and a half minutes, flip, and cook for one more minute.
- Take off from the grill and put straight onto your buns. Bun should already have a sauce of choice; add lettuce, avocado, caramelised balsamic onions, etc. and enjoy!
